Hello Savory Warriors!
First, let me ask you one question. Have you ever been to a cute cafe/restaurant because it's cute?
for me, i always went to a restaurant because of the places. rather the place is cozy, cute or have a good interiors.
The yellow lazy egg, Gudetama from Sanrio is very famous nowadays. We can see that through toys, snacks packaging, even LINE Stickers and themes.
I found a Gudetma restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hongkong. The restaurant name is Dim Sum Icon. When we enter the restaurant, all we can see is Gudetama decorations that's very cute. But the queue was too long. I queue at there around 1,5 hours. Maybe because it's weekends.
Gudetama Egg Yolk Buns (HK$49)
Gudetama Prawn Dumplings (HK$49)
Gudetama Fried Rice with Bacon (HK$ 69)
Gudetama Pork Dumplings (HK$59)
The menu is very cute, it's came with the picutres. And for tourist, don't worry because the menu is available in english and chinese descriptions. There's 25 Gudetama dishes were available. Varying in price between HK$39 and HK$69.
Even there's a normal dimsum, but NOBODY around ordered the normal dim sum. But all went in crazy mode for the cuteness of Gudetama items. Because it's too cute to be missed.
I recommended this restaurant if you are a fans of the lazy egg Gudetama. And also if you want to come in the weekends, i recommended you to come around 11am-12pm. because if you come after lunch time it'll be too crowded.
