"Whoever said money can't buy happiness, simply don't know where to eat good steak!", It’s been a while since there’s been a game changer in steak world in Jakarta’s restaurant. Just opened last mid-year, the new Italian-American steakhouse by the Union Group, Bistecca has been the game changer!
Bistecca is the perfect place for people who are looking for a good food, and comfortable place to eat as well. We can see that the place have a really amazing ambience and i love the vibes at Bistecca. Because the foods and ambience are really amazing, you must reserved this place before you came. Especially at the weekend, i highly recommend you to reserve a day before you come. The places, is not that big, so if you go there and not reserved already, you must queue around 1,5 hours.
As I stated before, Bistecca’s food, especially the steak is amusing. They offer US and Australian beef. I got to try their Certified Australian Black Angus Rib-Eye. Price-wise, it’s pretty affordable compared to the others. But, wait! You can’t underestimate the taste. You can choose how your steak are done and I ordered mine in medium well.
Gaaah! My first bite of it was very memorable, as I still can remember the tenderness of the steak. The steak was seasoned very well as well.
To be paired with the steak I ordered the side dish, Mac and Cheese with Truffle Oil and Spinach. Both of it were giving the steak extra score, and eaten together they luxuriate your mouth to the fullest. The Mac and Cheese is creamy and cheesy, with a hint truffle flavor(the right amount!). Like the Mac and Cheese, the Spinach were also creamy, but in a way that neutralize the taste of the steak.
I ordered Iced Latte to compliment those good food. It tasted okay, just like any other lattes and it got nothing else I can talk about.
Oh! The next thing that must be talked about is the place. Look at the library themed, slightly dark place they offer. Didn't it scream comfiness? This is literally the place you should visit if you want to have amazing food in amazing place.
For you all, steak enthusiasts, Bistecca is a must-go restaurant. As it offers irresistible food in such a comfortable place, it is also located in a strategic area in SCBD. Try once and I guarantee it'll be your go-to steakhouse.
